WHEN SHOULD I GET A MASSAGE?
Massage therapy can be very beneficial treating the following ailments:
Repetitive Injury
When you spend long hours sitting at a computer or other stressful position. Any repetitive or stressful task can give you unrelenting neck and shoulder pain. Massage therapy can relieve neck and shoulder pain with a combination of Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue massage and myofascial release.
Aches and Pains
When you start saying “I
must be getting old” due to those sudden aches and pains
that appear out of nowhere. When your ability to do ordinary tasks, such as getting in and out of your car, playing golf or blow drying your hair cause pain that just doesn’t belong there.
Migraine Headaches
When you have migraine headaches. With approval from your doctor or chiropractor, we can work together to, hopefully, reduce the frequency and/or severity of you migraine attacks.
Fibromyalgia
When you suffer from Fibromyalgia. The syndrome is unique to each person who has it. Frequently, clients have good results with lessening chronic pain, normalizing their sleep patterns and creating a better sense of well-being.
Temporomandibular Joint Disorder
When you have TMJ (Temporomandibular
Joint Disorder). Many people have had excellent results from massage therapy to treat the muscle spasms and pain of TMJ.
Recovery
When you’re recovering from an injury. When your doctor or chiropractor says your progress is good but you’re unhappy with how long it’s taking to get back to normal and feeling like your old self.
